History

In the late 1970s, the Christie family started propagating landscape plants specializing in ground covers and then moving into roses. In 1987 Pierre Piroche bought a section of the property and began Piroche Plants with a vision to introduce British Columbia to rare plants and trees from around the world. He became a leader in introducing new plant introductions and creating a rare collection of plant material from Asia.
